One chassis. Total freedom.
| One chassis. Total freedom. A lot of Element4 fireplaces are built around a single chassis that supports both gas and bio-ethanol. The burner can be converted from gas to bio-ethanol or vice versa, without changing the design or dimensions. Gas installations are always balanced flued, while bio-ethanol offers both balanced flued and flue-free options. This unique flexibility allows fireplaces to be placed almost anywhere, making Element4 a future-proof choice for high-end projects.
One chassis. One design. Multiple fire solutions.
At Element4, flexibility is built into the core of our fireplaces. Amost all our models are developed around a single, high-quality chassis that supports both gas and bio-ethanol technologies without changing the architectural design.
This means that, for any reason during the lifetime of a project, the burner can be converted from gas to bio-ethanol or from bio-ethanol back to gas, while the chassis, dimensions and finish remain exactly the same. Design decisions made today therefore remain future-proof.
Venting flexibility is a key part of this concept.
Gas fireplaces always require a flue and are installed as balanced flued systems. Our bio-ethanol fireplaces can be installed in exactly the same way, using the same balanced flued solution. The advantage of this setup is absolute comfort: no odour, no need for additional ventilation, and a familiar installation method for installers and architects.
However, Element4 bio-ethanol fireplaces offer an additional, unique advantage, they can also be installed flueless (and they still have the same chassis). This allows for maximum freedom in design and placement, making fireplaces possible in locations where balanced flue systems are not feasible such as apartments, high-rise buildings or lofts in cities like London.
